"Critics often point to the musical comedy as being the only
art form which is original to North America. But there is
another, the Western."
                           - Howard Pelham
Howard Pelham has written eighteen western novels. As noted in the
introduction, Howard taught himself both the craft of writing commercial
fiction and the very strange art of selling commercial fiction.

Even so, Howard has not abandoned his first love. His most recent western
novel, "Colorado Range War",
is now available from Avalon. We are
currently offering two of Howard's earlier novels, available in first edition
hardcover, autographed by the author.
       A Posse of Outlaws

Bounty Hunter Lee Remick is strangely
affected by a letter being carried by his
latest victim, Ed Brown. Brown's wife and
young daughter are in terrible danger.
Against his better judgement, Remick
seeks out the woman and finds himself
battling a gang of vicious killers.
  Brotherhood of Thieves

This is the last novel Howard wrote
before opening his agency. The plot is a
unique combination of traditional western
and mystery. A threatened gold miner,
who only wants to protect his own cache,
must solve a murder and apprehend a
marauding gang of dangerous robbers.
These novels each sell for $19.95, which includes postage and handling.
